Boost your production with an industrial robot arm

A cobot is a inudustrial robot arm that has been specially developed to work together with people. In this way, processes can be optimized and production increased.

Cobot, a lightweight industrial robot arm.

A cobot can take over tasks that are perceived as "boring" and "monotonous" by humans. These include screwing, packing or test work, but also, for example, smoothing and brushing sharp edges on metal sheets. This flexibility of the robot is due to the user-friendly, intuitive software and apps. This ensures that cobots are easy to program and are converted quickly and easily. The cobot is also quick and easy to install. It can be screwed onto a mobile workbench and in this way can be used almost anywhere in a company. It is therefore quite possible to have this industrial robot arm doing the same thing 40 hours a week, or to teach it a different task every day. Ideal for busy times during peak production times.

Different brands of industrial robot arms

The cobot market is growing and more and more different brands are entering the market. We cover three types below; Franka Emika, Universal Robots and Techman Robot.

Franka Emika

Franka Emika's robots are advanced robots whose unique feature is their sensitivity and extreme precision. Sensors are placed in the seven joints of these industrial robot arms, allowing the robots to handle the most delicate objects. The panda has a range of 850 millimeters and has a payload of 3 kilograms.

Universal Robots

The UR3, UR5, UR10 and UR16 make up Universal Robots' product range. One e-version of each type of robot is also available. These e-versions are extra sensitive because they are equipped with extra sensors. The Universal Robots are sturdy, strong robots made for heavy work.

Techman Robot

Techman Robot's cobots are unique in that they have an integrated vision system. A camera is placed on the head of the robot and the accompanying software is equipped with smart vision programs. These include pattern matching, object localization, barcode scanning and color recognition. The software is very accessible, even for people without programming knowledge.
